Why I'm losing interest in Tumblr ,
From the girls who degrade themselves to the guys who take off their shirts to intentionally get followers. From these damn Giveaway contests that have the capability to easily lie to you. What if there is no prize, yet they say the gave it out, who’s gonna know the truth? In the end, they end up with what they usually want, followers. From people taking some quotes off the Internet and posting it up like it’s their own, having you believe that they’re so deep. From the guys who talk about how they would never cheat or lie to a girl, or how they would treat their girl like a princess, having you believe that they’re so perfect. Having you forget that this is the internet, and that we have the freedom to say whatever the hell we want, giving everyone the capability to easily put on facade.
Actions speak louder than
textwords.People are so hungry for followers, it’s crazy. It’s to the point where people aren’t really being followed for their blog anymore. It’s like everyone’s main goal is to get Tumblr Famous, by any means necessary.
You see, I rather have people follow me for what I post. People who can relate, people who actually can get something out of my blog.
I’m not really losing interest in Tumblr but I just don’t like the idea of “tumblr famous” it’s ew.
